Country A beckoned a couple of weeks ago, and dreading the extended trip away from the beloved 13 year old fruit of my womb, I suddenly heard security issues there could halt my travel. Stayed Put ......
Country B loomed this week, but infrastructure issues there also put paid to my business trip. Just when my daughter needed me most, she fell ill this week and is slowly healing .......... Mum's TLC was sooo needed.

Make no mistake, the travel is exciting, the work enticing, but the crucial roles we play as parents supercedes ALL else.
Some days the mouthy fruit of said womb chirps that she might not recognise me on the heroic return from one of my continental trips. Though now as an official teen, she relishes said travel....
