Salutations,
What marvels of human imagination can allow my thoughts to flow smoothly onto this screen and into your consciousness, just by a click of my keyboard and the generosity of the "blogging community". On the road to nirvana, I feel that we can learn much from each other within the multi-hued galaxy of the online universe. We are at hyper-speed with mindless games, yet cannot fathom the delicate touch of genuine human interaction which alone staves off the demons of loneliness and desolation. This lunar landscape of beings having forgotten our purpose can be repopulated by imagination, creativity and a remembering of how we are all connected to everything around us.
I play many roles in this war-ravaged planet, and believe me, it is a war out there! We are fighting poverty, ignorance, cruelty, famine and a myriad of self-inflicted disasters. Huddled deep within our selves, is the certainty that there is something out there that guides us forward, to the greater good.
Some see me as a mother, a daughter, a sister, a cousin, an aunt, even a grandmother. I have been called friend, confidante, businesswoman, writer, lover. I am all of these in my blood, and I am each of them in a vacuum.
Has the question ever left us; "Who am I", and "Why am I here"? Is there any answer that just feels right?
I have traversed the African continent in all directions, hopped over Europe to the Americas, and felt the fragility of my soul in India. With all our nuanced differences, the only certainty is that in our core we are the same creature.
I wish to ensnare your gaze, so that we can all look inward to the glow of our own light, to break off the shackles that blind us to who we are.
I bid you adieu for now my fellow travellers, and hope to rejoice in our shared enlightenment.
